Getting inside the mind of a coach.
I didn’t realize how much I loved this topic until I was working on my coaching curriculum.
What I help my clients do is pinpoint their limits and struggles and help to push past them.
But how do I do this process? How do I actually make this happen?
I realized that this is something that needs to be shouted from the rooftops. Not enough people know where to start with personal growth and let alone make it work for them.
So in today’s episode I wanted to share with you how I coach women so you can create your own personal growth map.
Disclaimer: this is definitely not all inclusive. There’s only so much that can be shared in a general sense. But if you follow the advice I give here, you’ll be well on your way to changing your life.
Let’s get going.
Step 1: Notice how they talk to themselves
Step 2: Give them assignments on how to change that; ie self talk (Ep. 3)
Step 3: Find their sticking points
This is something that I work through one on one with clients.
But if you’re doing this on your own, start with the why test.
Once you get to the why, find books and/or online courses to help you work through that stumbling block.
Step 4: Celebrate the victories
Step 5: Repeat the process
Never stop asking why
Never stop learning about yourself.
Step 6: Surround them with a community of women that will praise and support them
Something very important to me is making sure women know that they’re not alone. I make sure that I help my clients find community. I make sure that they have people to surround them in support.
