Episode 10: Stop Trying to Prove Your Worth

I first heard the following saying on Brooke Castillo’s The Life Coach School Podcast and it completely rocked my world.

You will never be more worthy than you are right now.

How powerful is that statement?

You will never be more worthy than you are right now.

There is nothing you could ever do to make yourself more worthy.

There is nothing you could ever do to make yourself less worthy.

You. Are. Worthy.

So stop trying to prove your worth.

You know what I’m talking about. Stop trying to prove yourself to other people.

Stop trying to prove that if you do enough, if you produce enough, if you clean enough, if you talk enough, that you’re enough.

You are enough. As you are. Right now.

Stop trying to prove it to anyone else.

The fact of the matter is that if someone doesn’t see your worth, that’s their problem. Not yours.

In fact, just because someone doesn’t see your worth, doesn’t change that you are worthy.

Maybe it was your boyfriend that made you feel like garbage. Maybe it was your parents, a teacher, a friend. Whoever it was missed out on an opportunity.

I’m not saying that because it’s cliche, I’m saying that because it’s true.

Stop. Trying. To. Prove. Your. Worth.

The entirety of my life up until this point was spent trying to prove my worth to other people.

I completely changed who I was to prove my worth. I tried to prove myself right, prove my value by doing everything for other people.

To prove that I was worth loving I allowed things that I wasn’t ok with.

All it did was prove that I had lost who I was completely. It got to a point that I honestly didn’t even feel comfortable in my own skin.

When you begin to see your worth, you care less and less who else sees it.

Knowing your worth means you step up and out in ways you’d never expect.

When you know your worth, it doesn’t matter who likes you and who doesn’t.

There is absolutely nothing you can do to be more worthy than you are right now.

There’s nothing you can do to make yourself less worthy than you are right now.

YOU ARE WORTHY.

If you are ever in a situation where someone makes you feel like you have to prove that, then just turn around and walk away.

You are incredible. Incredibly powerful, strong, and WORTHY!
